Creating Your Birth Experience
Specialization in the normal birth experience is what nurse-midwifery is all about. With the assistance of the hospital nursing staff, we provide you with:
We rely primarily on natural labor support measures such as massage, walking and the jacuzzi for pain relief. Medications, IV and local anesthesia are available as needed.
24 hour back-up coverage is provided should any medical complication arise which would require the expertise of an obstetrician. We will remain with you should a caesarean section or forceps delivery be necessary and we will care for you afterwards.

POST PARTUM

Continuity And Support
During the postpartum visits, you will have an opportunity to discuss your labor and delivery and how to best care for yourself and your new baby. Once at home, you can call for questions or concerns. We ask you to return to the office for a two and six week postpartum visit.

COSTS AND INSURANCE

Our services are covered by most insurance plans. A fee schedule and payment plan are available upon request.
